Dress for Success made all the problems I had seem solvable.
Ladene was referred to us while pregnant and receiving care from another nonprofit which provides safety for individuals and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and exploitation. Dress for Success gave her “hope when (she) was in a dark place”. Ladene is a mother, an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, and she is committed to community service. Her roles as a volunteer coordinator for Girl Scouts and PTA president at Campbell Elementary School highlight her dedication to empowering and supporting women and girls. She’s been involved with Dress for Success for 9 years and has participated in multiple programs, including Path to Employment (P2E) and Professional Women’s Group (PWG).
