With Dress for Success it’s like they handed me a key to unlock my own potential, reminding me that I’m capable of so much more.
Dhorea came to Dress for Success Kelowna 4.5 years ago after working in the social service industry for 15 years and then with women, addressing violence and gangs. She was executive director of a social enterprise during the pandemic. She lost 4 family members and 3 members in only two months. The Professional Women’s Group brought incredible influential women from the community. The ripple effect was life-changing; it helped her become a better mom, co-worker, human, and community member. She currently works as a community engagement facilitator.
