Carol Urton is the Senior Director of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability for Experian North America, which includes the U.S., Canada, Chile and Costa Rica. She is responsible for Experian’s community investment and sustainability strategies that include gift-in-kind projects, nonprofit grant management and corporate donations. She manages employee donation and volunteer programs, the Experian Cares Fund, which supports employees in financial crisis and coordinates the region’s disaster relief responses. Carol leads North America’s social innovation work, helping Experian’s businesses secure funding for projects that support financial inclusion for all.
Globally, Carol supports Experian’s diversity and inclusion efforts by serving on a global committee for the advancement of Experian’s commitment to equitable access to financial tools. This effort includes leadership for the cornerstone program, United for Financial Health, which educates, empowers and protects underserved communities through credit education.
A published author, Carol is an accomplished speaker and certified professional coach, whose goal is to inspire people to achieve their full potential despite hardships in life. In 2021, Carol launched her private coaching practice, Epoch 50’s Plus Coaching, which supports professionals in the workplace. She is an iPEC Energy Leadership and Positive Mindset coach, and facilitates training for organizations that want their employees to be better leaders and thrive in the workplace.
Carol holds a B.A. in Sociology from the California State University, Bakersfield amd an ACC with the International Coach Federation. She resides in the North Texas area.
