Marion joined the Board of Dress for Success Scotland in 2016 and served as Chair from 2020 to 2023. She is currently the Development & Operations Officer. Passionate about women’s rights Marion is also a former President of Soroptimist International Scotland South Region’s Kirkintilloch branch and a former Board Member of the Association of Scottish Business Women. She also coaches and mentors women entrepreneurs.
Marion is a qualified Lawyer graduating with honors from the University of Glasgow and studied politics, economics and law at University in Amsterdam. She has extensive experience working in private practice helping business owners grow and protect their businesses and working inhouse for global engineering company, Howden Engineering (now part of Chart Inc) supporting internal functions including Marketing, Risk Management, HR, IT, Project Office and Finance Departments with global responsibility for IP and Data Protection and working on acquisitions and the start up of overseas subsidiaries. She is also founder and successful owner of Eolach Consulting a boutique business specializing in IP, Data Protection and small business start ups.
Marion lives just outside of Glasgow with her husband and son.
